Wimbledon 2010: FEDEXIT

Roger federer, six time Wimbledon champion exits at the quarter finals of Wimbledon 2010 championships; a major shock for all tennis fans around the globe. This was the day which roger would definitely forget for he played his worst fame ever. He remained shaken since the start of the tournament, not to mention his injuries which seemed to have affected his style of aggressive playing. From Alejandro Falla to Thomas Berdych, his performance on court was not as consistent as it used to. His backhand and forehand were wrongly executed, most of the times. He seemed very lost; not focused.

As a result, tennis viewers were baffled and most of them skeptical of Roger’s skills; keeping in mind his 2010 overall performance. Many now believe the Roger era is over; people all over think he is satisfied and now has lost interest in his goals as he has chased down all of it and now he sits upon the pinnacle of modern era tennis. People believe Roger is complacent and over confident, apparently his interviews give that perspective. It is definite that one must fall in what he rises, at some point or the other. Ups and downs don’t and will not affect the bests.

To conclude, tennis fans hope that Roger will come back strong and capture his US open major and bring back his form that once made him the god of tennis, which he still is; as no one wants to see a fantastic player to fall apart in short time, so let’s not write him off, it’s just the end of his 2nd chapter. Hoping that his next chapter starts smooth!!!
